David Gantt voted Best Lawyers in America “Lawyer of the Year” for Workers’ Compensation in Asheville

Mr. Gantt is a 1981 graduate of Campbell School of Law and holds a B.A. in Economics from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1978. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law by the North Carolina Bar Board of Legal Specialization and a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Rated Lawyer. He is listed in North Carolina Super Lawyers (2009-2010) and in Best Lawyers in America Workers’ Compensation Section.

He is the recipient of the 2004 Charles Campbell Regional Leadership Award, and the 2005 Circle of Excellence Award for Community Leadership. Also in 2005, he was honored to receive the North Carolina State Bar Association’s Centennial Award for Community Service, and in 2007 its prestigious Citizen Lawyer Award. Recognized by many local and municipal entities for his dedication to excellence in leadership, Mr. Gantt holds the 2006 RiverWise Award for French Broad River Preservation, the 2007 Friends of the River Award, the 2010 WENOA Sierra Club Leadership Award, and the WNC Central Labor Council 2012 Stepp Labor Leader Award. He is the recipient of the 2016 Leaders in the Law Award from Elon University and NC Lawyers Weekly.
